I have long been driven by a love for wildlife, conservation and chasing sunsets in beautiful places. Following my training as a psychologist, I chose to take a turn back to these core interests and merge a love for the natural world with psychology.
My research in conservation psychology envisions a field of research and practice that foregrounds environmental justice over behaviour change. Serendipitously, this very research used photography as a visual storytelling method.
Photography can move, disturb, and inspire viewers. I hope to continue using photography not only to portray the artistry of the natural environment, but to learn about the stories of other people and their experiences.
